For 20+ years, Rhythm Heart Institute has cared for families across Gujarat and Rajasthan — first as a dedicated heart hospital, now as a full multi-specialty group.
Rhythm Heart Institute began as a focused cardiology and cardiac surgery centre — the kind of place families travelled hours to reach when something serious was happening to someone they loved. We built our reputation in operating theatres and cath labs, one patient at a time.
Over the years, those same families came back to us with different concerns. A father with a kidney problem. A mother needing knee replacement. A child with a stomach condition. They trusted us with their hearts, and they wanted that same care for the rest of their bodies.
So we expanded — carefully, and only into specialties where we could bring in clinicians who matched the standard we'd already set in cardiac care. Today, Rhythm is a multi-specialty hospital group operating across five cities, anchored by the same team and the same principles we started with.
The numbers behind the care
We took the Hippocratic Oath seriously — and we built the hospital around it. These four ideas decide how we hire, how we treat patients, and what we will and won't do.
We will not recommend a procedure you don't need. If a second opinion serves you better than surgery, that's the opinion you'll get from us. Our consultants are paid for their expertise, not for the volume of interventions they perform.
A heart attack doesn't wait for someone to travel six hours to a metro city. We placed our units in Dahod, Banswara, Bhavnagar, and Bharuch for exactly this reason — so critical cardiac care is within an hour of the people who need it most.
Premium medicine should not require selling family land. We publish package rates, we explain bills line by line, and we work with most major insurance and government health schemes. If something is going to cost more than expected, you'll hear it from us before the procedure, not after.
Recovery is not only physical. Our nursing teams are trained to sit with patients, to explain in the language the family speaks at home, and to call back after discharge. This is the part of medicine that doesn't show up in brochures — and it's the part we care most about.
A short history of how Rhythm grew — carefully, and only when patients asked us to.
Rhythm Heart Institute opens in Vadodara as a dedicated cardiology and cardiac surgery centre, founded by clinicians trained at India's leading cardiac institutes.
Rhythm is recognised for postgraduate medical education — beginning with the Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Cardiology, training the next generation of cardiologists for the region.
The 3-year DNB Interventional Cardiology programme is established, putting Rhythm among a small group of private hospitals in Gujarat authorised to train interventional cardiologists.
The first satellite unit opens — 45 beds in Dahod, designed for comprehensive cardiac and critical care for the tribal belt of eastern Gujarat.
Rhythm Banswara opens in Rajasthan — 45 beds, dedicated cardiac and critical care, serving a region where the nearest comparable facility was hours away.
Two further hubs open along Gujarat's industrial corridor, extending multi-specialty care to Saurashtra and south Gujarat.
Rhythm formally operates as a multi-specialty group across six core departments — Cardiology, Neurology, Nephrology, Orthopaedics, General Surgery, and Gastroenterology — while retaining cardiology as its founding strength.
Accreditation

National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers
Rhythm Heart Institute is accredited by NABH — India's principal standards body for hospital quality, patient safety, and infection control, operating under the Quality Council of India.
NABH certification is not a one-time award. It is re-assessed on a recurring cycle, and our clinical protocols, mortality reviews, infection rates, and patient-safety audits are reviewed against national benchmarks at every cycle.
Beyond accreditation, Rhythm operates as a recognised teaching institute. Our cardiology academic wing runs two postgraduate pathways:
A structured postgraduate diploma for physicians building deeper cardiac expertise — a programme Rhythm has run for years as part of its founding academic mandate.
Recognised by the National Board of Examinations for the training of interventional cardiologists — placing Rhythm among a small group of private hospitals in Gujarat authorised to train at this level.
The presence of resident trainees and academic faculty within the institute means clinical decisions are routinely peer-reviewed, journal clubs are weekly, and senior consultants are continuously teaching — which is the strongest quiet indicator of clinical quality you can ask for in a hospital.
From the flagship in Vadodara to critical care units across two states.
The original Rhythm. Houses our most advanced cardiac cath labs, cardiac surgery theatres, and the full multi-specialty department roster. This is where complex cases from across the network are referred.
A 45-bed comprehensive care unit serving eastern Gujarat and the tribal belt. Cardiology, critical care, and general medicine — built for a region where reaching a metro hospital can mean losing critical hours.
A 45-bed cardiac and critical care unit, and the first time advanced cardiology became locally available to families across southern Rajasthan without travelling out of state.
Serving Saurashtra with multi-specialty consultation and inpatient care, with direct referral pathways to Vadodara for complex interventions.
Located along Gujarat's industrial corridor, serving the working population of south Gujarat with multi-specialty outpatient and inpatient services.
Find directions, OPD timings, and direct lines for each unit.
A hospital is only as good as the person standing next to your bed. Our consultants and surgeons come from leading Indian and international training institutions — and most have been with Rhythm for over a decade. Continuity matters in medicine: the cardiologist who sees you in OPD is the same one who will sit with your family if surgery is needed.
Talk to a Rhythm doctor. Whether it's a second opinion, a routine check, or something more urgent, our OPD lines are open and our consultants are available across all five cities.
